I have loved music ever since childhood. Making cardboard cut-out electric guitars in my youth so I could air guitar a power ballad. In 2001, I got my first set of turntable decks and the obsession with music grew beyond comprehension. Years of trial and error taught me the intricacies of DJ’ing, a deep respect for the craft. Finding the right DJ for your club or event should tick 3 boxes

What you should expect

  • #1 - Communication: We ask the questions others don’t.

    • The DJ should want to learn as much about your event as much as you need to learn about them. They should ask everything possible to ensure absolute preparedness to take your experience to the next level. We do, you’ll see by our Quote Form that it contains a few questions to get us started. Additionally, you should have information to hand on your DJ(s) via a press kit, website or socials so you can determine the right fit.

  • #2 - Hear their sound: Don't book a DJ without hearing what they actually sound like*

    • Commonly overlooked and rarely asked for. Most bookings assume a playlist is the only ingredient needed to provide a DJ with enough ammunition to ensure the vibe is right. Wrong! Nowadays there’s no shortage of ways to hear a DJ’s output. TikTok, YouTube, FB, Insta, Mixcloud, Soundcloud - the DJ should be freely sharing this information with you to give you confidence they can do more than just press play on your playlist. They can read a room, gauge the energy and deploy the right tune into a set at the right time for maximum effect.

  • #3 - Stay Connected: We don’t disappear once the deposit is paid.

    • If its January and you’re booking for July, your chosen DJ/Agency should be keeping in touch with you at least once a month to give you confidence they’re going to show and deliver on the brief and in greater frequency (if requested/needed) in the final 2-3 weeks before and DEFINITELY on the day before and of the event!
